Flagship 2026 launch connects fireground command directly to the incident record, giving officers greater visibility and eliminating disconnected workflows.
Run the scene. Capture the record. One incident. One record.
OVIEDO, Fla., Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- EPR Fireworks today announced the public launch of Command Works, its flagship product release of 2026. Already in use with customers, the new incident command solution brings fireground accountability and incident documentation together, giving officers greater control of the scene without adding another disconnected system.
Knowing which crews are on scene and what each one is assigned to is a core job of incident command, and departments across the country are moving that job off the whiteboard and onto digital command boards. Accountability is driving that shift: when a scene moves fast, a whiteboard can't always keep up with which crews are assigned where.
Yet many departments still track units and assignments on magnetic boards, dry-erase boards and paper worksheets, then rebuild that information by hand in the incident report.
Command Works connects what happens on scene to what gets recorded afterward.
"Incident commanders need to focus on their people, their assignments and the decisions happening in front of them, not on how they will document everything later," said Neriyah Oren, Vice President of Product at EPR Fireworks. "We built Command Works to make that connection natural, from running the scene to capturing the record. What makes it so special is that Command Works is connected directly to Incidents, so when command is complete, the key actions are already in your incident report and your ICS 214 is ready. I'm incredibly proud of our product team and the care they put into building this alongside fire departments. Their input shaped this product, and our team's dedication brought it to life."
Run the Scene. Capture the Record.
Command Works brings three critical workflows together:
- Run the scene: Open command directly from the incident, with responding units already on the board through CAD. Select a call type to populate divisions, groups and checklists using familiar ICS terminology. Run PAR checks, declare a mayday and transfer command, right from the board.
- Capture the record: Log benchmarks like establishing command, water on fire and primary search with one tap, while every action is time-stamped in a running activity log. When command is completed, benchmark timestamps, completed tactical actions and rehab entries are written into the incident report, and Command Works produces the ICS 214 Activity Log, ICS 201 Incident Briefing and After-Action Report.
- Bring in mutual aid: Neighboring agencies join the board with a time-limited code, no Fireworks account needed. Responder access lets them report for their own unit and message Command, or departments can grant view-only access.
One Unified Platform. Exceptional Customer Service.
Fire departments are increasingly asking Fireworks for fewer disconnected systems, not more. With fewer firefighters per department and greater reliance on mutual and automatic aid, departments need command visibility across agencies without adding complexity.
What Fireworks hears consistently is a preference for one unified platform, one incident record and one support team, rather than another application, login and vendor for every job.
"This is our biggest launch in an incredible year of growth for Fireworks," said Gilad Preger, CEO of EPR Fireworks. "Departments don't want ten different systems to do ten different jobs. They want one unified platform that supports their people before, during and after the call. Command Works is a major step forward in the depth of our products, backed by the exceptional customer service our customers expect."
